Rocky Mountain College employs a full-time media team to assist the College with the creation and development of all College communications and share news and information with local and national media. The Media Team designs mailings, posters, and advertisements; trains staff and faculty on interacting with the media; as well as organizes press conferences and promotes events.
The media team is responsible for writing and producing Green & Gold, RMC's quarterly magazine; a weekly newsworthy email featuring current campus news, feature stories, and coming events; issuing press releases about faculty, students, staff, and events; maintaining the College photo gallery and online archives, as well as the RMC Logo & Standards Guide; development and maintenance of the College website; as well as the creation of all College publications.

Editing & Design Services
The RMC Media Team is equipped to create a variety of designs for College-wide communications, including brochures, posters, logos, advertisements, and other printed and digital materials. They are responsible for ensuring that all publications bearing the RMC logo adhere to current brand standards and accurately and appropriately represent Rocky Mountain College. To that end, services are complimentary to RMC faculty and staff and include:
- Consultation with a graphic designer or editor
- Design and layout
- Coordination of printing efforts*
- Editing, writing, proof-reading, ensuring that all materials meet College standards
*Note: The Media Team can assist with the coordination of printing for large projects (100+ copies) or especially complicated designs, however the cost of such printed materials will be charged to the department requesting the design.
Submit your request to the Media Team at firstname.lastname@example.org and provide the following information:
- Description of the event and/or reason for the publication
- Desired audience
- Size requirements, quantity
- Approval information (if applicable)
Your request will be responded to within 24 hours, Monday-Friday, by a member of the Media Team. Depending on the type of request, a phone consultation or in-person meeting will be scheduled to determine the scope of the project, and a project completion date will be set. A proof of the completed design/project will be emailed to you, pending your approval. Should you feel that the design/project does not meet your needs, or requires further revision, a member of the team will contact you personally to develop a plan to complete the requested changes.
The RMC Media Team serves as employees' liaison to the news media and to many of the College's audiences. With the help of the Media Team, faculty and staff offer professional perspectives that represent their points and the College most effectively. The team will help craft op-ed material for media and supplies useful ways to share RMC news.
