Our Mission

I want to welcome you to Rocky Mountain College. I’m often asked what makes RMC's brand of the sciences, professional schools and the liberal arts relevant and attractive to today’s career-focused students and their parents.
We believe one-dimensional talent won’t take you very far; Rocky Mountain College offers students a much more complete package. We develop exceptional organizational leaders who are self-assured and adept – prepared with the versatile savoir-faire needed to thrive in a competitive world that changes at a blinding pace.
We are a college engaged in personal attention to our students. We offer a wide variety of undergraduate degrees that allow our students to identify and master their life’s calling.
Ours is a small undergraduate student body by choice. We do this for the following reasons:
- We pride ourselves on individualized attention from our faculty. This allows each student to take advantage of a professor’s academic time and talent, developing uniquely in each student, their own skills in a way that personalize their education. We are a teaching college dedicated to above average academic performance. If you are an average high school student, our approach allows one to excel. If you have achieved high academic performance in high school, our programs of academic study allow you to challenge yourself to new pinnacles.
- We encourage our students to become involved in undergraduate research thus increasing graduate school opportunities.
- Five years after graduation, many of our students are on a faster promotional track; at higher pay plateaus; and civically engaged in the communities they chose to live. We find them to be the kind of people who become ethical leaders, often making positive contributions in time and talent to others.
- They become people who make the world a better place.
