International Programs

The mission of the Office of International Programs is to foster intercultural understanding among the diverse community of learners at Rocky Mountain College. Students come from all over the United States and the world to study here at a small college campus where the focus is on student learning and opportunities for personal development.

Apply to Rocky Mountain College

You can apply on-line or you can download the International Student Application, print it, complete it, and send it by mail or by fax to International Admissions, +1 406-259-9751.

International Student and Scholar Services

Rocky's Office of International Programs works closely with all other college offices to provide comprehensive services for student and visiting scholars. Scholars interested in teaching or conducting research while at Rocky Mountain College should contact the director of international programs for more information.

Students can expect the following from the Office:

Upon acceptance, you will be sent an acceptance letter, a government document for obtaining the appropriate visa, additional information about applying for the visa and to help you prepare to start your adventure here.
Upon confirmation that you will enroll, you and an advisor will work together to register for classes
We will meet you at the airport any time of day or night
You will receive academic and cultural orientation upon arrival and helpful advice all along the way
assistance with immigration regulations
help obtaining bank accounts, medical insurance, and employment opportunities
and just about any other service an international student may require

Education and Experience Abroad

The Office of International Programs provides advice and assistance to students who wish to study, volunteer or work outside of the United States. The college has several exchange relationships and is a member of International Student Exchange Program (ISEP), which provides many semester and year-long opportunities for study abroad. Not all students are interested in an academic experience abroad, so the office will also provide initial assistance finding internship, volunteer, or other work opportunities.

Student Activities

The International Sojourners Club, composed of students from many nations and cultural backgrounds, hosts activities on campus, such as foreign film series, food festivals, New Year celebrations, volunteer opportunities in the community and forums about current international events.
