B.S. Business Management, Rocky Mountain College
I help prospective students and their parents through the admission procedure.
A Little About Me
I would like to start off by thanking you for your interest in Rocky Mountain College. I graduated from RMC in the spring of 2012 with a major in business management and a minor in communications. I am originally from Mahtomedi, Minn., but after an amazing four years here at Rocky Mountain College I could not justify leaving Montana. I spent the vast majority of my time outside of class involving myself with the RMC ski team. We worked hard and in return were very successful, as we were the 2011 USCSA National Champions. I also spent time as a student activities leader, which was a great experience, as well as enjoyable. The rest of my free time I spent being involved with intramurals, as well as with my friends on and off campus. My time at RMC was so enjoyable that I felt it necessary to stay within the College, where I am happy to be an admission counselor. I look forward to aiding other students in having the same enjoyable experience that I had at RMC.
Spot on campus: Hands down, spending time on the walkway is my favorite. It's beautiful and sunny for the most part and has great colors in the spring and fall.
Thing about RMC: I thoroughly enjoy the numerous opportunities to get involved. Whether it be through sports, intramurals, outdoor recreation, student activities, or even things as simple as helping out a professor. I loved being able to get involved in a way that could make RMC even better.
Be sure to spend time on campus just wandering around to get your own feel, as well as time with your counselor. Go up on the Rimrocks and catch the amazing views of the Pryor Mountains, as well as the Beartooth Mountain Range on nice, clear days. Take a trip to Red Lodge in order to get a feel of a true ski town. Red Lodge is beautiful anytime of the year and is a great place to spend a day or weekend. The last thing I would recommend is to take walk around downtown Billings. Downtown is much more than what can be seen out of a car window. Walk around and enjoy all that Billings has to offer.
