Sara Arnold cheerleading

Sara Arnold

Hey ya'll - I'm Sara Arnold and I'm from smack dab in the center of Montana, good ol' Lewistown. I am currently a sophomore majoring in sociology/anthropology; and I'm also a RMC cheerleader. RMC was my first and only pick for college, so I was super excited when I got my acceptance letter. There are a few reasons why I chose RMC. 1. it's close to my home; I'm very close to my family and I like knowing they are not far. 2. RMC's small size; I love knowing that I won't be just another face in the crowd. I have great relationships with professors and RMC has become a second family and home to me. And, the number 3 reason I chose RMC is the cheer squad. This is my eighth year cheering and I knew I wanted to continue in college - it's a major part of my life! There are so many different things offered at RMC, and I am very excited to see what my future holds here!

Emily

Emily Bishoff

Hey everyone! My name is Emily Bishoff, and I'm a junior at RMC this year. I am double majoring in athletic training and exercise science. I've lived in Montana my whole life, where I spent most of it growing up in Yellowstone National Park. I graduated in 2009 from a small Class C school in Gardiner, MT. Growing up in a small community made choosing Rocky Mountain College easy. I loved the size of RMC and knew that I would be getting an excellent education, especially due to the close relationships between students and faculty. Professors here care about you and your education, which makes it easy to excel. In my free time I enjoy listening to music, watching movies, hanging out with friends, and anything to do with sports. I spend most of my time with the athletic teams here at RMC, and hope to continue working at an athletic trainer in the future.

Zac

Zachare Bonhoff

My name is Zac Bonhoff. I'm originally from Baltimore, MD, but I've spent most of my life growing up in the suburbs of Harrisburg, PA. I am a freshman here at RMC and I'm a double major in environmental science and geology. I chose RMC because I wanted to gain an education from a western school that was prestigious in my areas of study and one where I could spend time in a different area. I am gaining a top notch education, with new life experiences as well. The small school with one on one time with professors is another thing that really brought me to RMC. So far this school has surpassed my expectations by a long shot and I am anxious to see what is on the road ahead.

Cole Johnson

My name is Cole Johnson and I am a transfer student from Eastern Montana. I chose RMC because of the helpful staff and small classes, plus I am partial to the Billings area. One of the things about RMC that I especially like is the chance to get to know your professors personally. They take active interest in your education, and they are willing to help you when you need it.

 Sarah

Sarah Nitschke

Hello everyone! I'm a local here in Billings living only a mile or two away from campus. I'm a communication studies major with the hopes of pursuing a career where I'd have the opportunity to work with students. I love Jesus, dancing, graphic design, singing and am the kind of extrovert person who needs a quiet moment every once in a while. Since stepping onto campus as a high school student I have fallen in love with everything RMC. Back then I knew going to school here would be amazing and now that I"m an official student I have not been disappointed. All of my professors have been fantastic. Not only are they passionate about their subjects, but they go out of their way to help you to succeed. I've made so many wonderful friends and feel included in the RMC community enjoying many of the on-campus activities such as; ultimate frisbee, painting on the green, trips to the drive-in movie theatre and rafting adventures on the Yellowstone. All in all, there's no place I'd rather be, I wear my RMC colors with pride!

Nikita

Nikita Olson

Hi everyone - My name is Nikita Olson and I am a sophomore at RMC, double majoring in business management and psychology. I chose RMC because it provides an excellent education and beautiful campus right in my hometown. When I’m not busy with classes, or working at my job at a local restaurant, I enjoy going for walks on the Rims which overlook the city, baking or simply spending time with all the great people I have met here. And if that isn’t enough, I take part in many of RMC's activities such as pizza and bowling or going to the Mustangs games. I always stay busy and involved, but I wouldn’t want it any other way.

Tyler

Tyler Reed

Hi everyone, my name is Tyler and I am originally from Bonney Lake, Washington. A few years ago my family decided that they would like a change of scenery. It was then that we decided to set our sights on Montana. We moved to a tiny town a couple hours North of here called Lewistown. It was there that I finished the rest of my high schooling and graduated with a class of 4 from Grass Range in 2010. As you guys most likely know, your senior year is the time when everyone starts looking for colleges and seeking career opportunities for later in life. That's when I set my sights on Rocky Mountain College. Being an aeronautical science major (a fancy term for a pilot), I had limited options. I looked at a few schools but only one offered all that I wanted. RMC has opened a door to a completely different world for me; whether I am flying out to Lewistown to grab a bite with my folks or heading off for Intercollegiate Flight Team in Colorado, there is never a dull moment or an unfriendly face.

Tucker Walker

Tucker Walker

My name is Tucker Walker and I am a sophomore at RMC this year. I am double majoring in athletic training and exercise science. I chose RMC because of the small class sizes and because of the small school setting in a big city (I am from Helena, MT so Billings is a big city for me at least). It also has a 3:2 athletic training program; this is where I attend classes at RMC for 3 years and then I will attend classes at MSU-B for 2 years and I will receive my Master's Degree in a total of 5 years. There is no doubt in my mind that when I graduate from RMC that I will not get the job of my dreams. RMC also has a great outdoor recreation program; nothing is better than at the end of a stressful school week than going out hiking the Crazy Mountains that weekend. RMC has so much to offer, it is just a matter of taking some time and trying new things. I honestly can say that I am proud to be a Rocky Mountain College Battlin' Bear!

Logan

Logan Weidman

Hi my name is Logan Weidman and I am a sophomore/junior at RMC this year. I chose RMC for a multitude of reasons: 1 - I love the small size of the school. Growing up in a small school with the same kids since kindergarten, I wanted a school that offered a broader range of students without me becoming just a number to the faculty. 2 - RMC has an outstanding reputation. I wanted to be a part of a school which has had an outstanding reputation since its inception. I'm proud to be a Battlin' Bear and I know my future will be bright after graduating from such an amazing school. I am currently majoring in English education with two minors in communication and reading.
