Meet Our Students

Jacob Gosman

Jacob Gosman

Hello, my name is Jacob Gosman, and I am a transfer student here at Rocky Mountain College! I am originally from good ol' Montana, growing up all over the state, but I had the pleasure of studying at ACC Northridge in Austin, Texas, as well as Texas Tech. I am majoring in geology – petroleum systems, and I plan to work in oil exploration and allocation. Why did I choose RMC? Simple. Coming from very large institutions, the staff here at Rocky are unmatched and amazing; plus, the campus is beautiful! If you are curious about RMC as your first college, or are considering transferring here, I highly recommend you book a visit, and I will gladly show you the Rocky difference!

Tiana O'Tremba

Tiana O'Tremba

Hey everyone! My name is Tiana O'Tremba, and I'm a junior here at Rocky. I spent most of my growing up years in Lovell, Wyoming, but I was born in Montana and lived in Alaska for six years. I am a business administration major and am looking to minor in English or art. After college I would like to get into the event planning business either working for a company like Disney or somewhere in Las Vegas. I came to Rocky to be part of the cheerleading program, which I have now been involved in for three years. I love the community at Rocky and couldn't imagine myself anywhere else. Go Bears!

Cooper Simpson

Cooper Simpson

Hey everyone, my name is Cooper Simpson, and I am originally from Spirit Lake, Idaho. I'm currently a senior here at Rocky Mountain College majoring in biology with a minor in literary studies. I am also a captain on the men's varsity golf team, vice president of ASRMC, president of Student Ambassadors, and a peer mentor. I chose Rocky initially because of the small size and the amazing biology program. Having been here for four years now, I love how easy it is to get involved on campus, as well as the great relationships that are formed with professors and fellow students!

Daniel Thompsett

Daniel Thompsett

My name is Daniel Thompsett, and I am a senior at Rocky Mountain College. I am from England, but living in the northeast of Scotland. I am majoring in exercise science with a minor in athletic training. The thing I love about my major and minor is that it requires me to work in the training room for three semesters – this lets me meet a lot of the other athletes and helps me get hands-on experience with how to treat an injury. The main thing that brought me to Rocky was golf; I have played on the golf team for four years and am enjoying every second of it. Apart from golf and athletic training, there are a number of extracurricular activities I am involved with, including being a student ambassador. One of the biggest things I love about Rocky is the large variety of international students and how many languages and accents you can hear at such a small college.

Amanda Webb

Amanda Webb

My name is Amanda Webb, and I am currently a junior majoring in communication studies with a minor in organizational leadership. I came to Rocky Mountain College looking for a new experience; I am originally from Orlando, Florida, so Billings gave me a completely new setting. I've grown up going to large schools and just being a number in a school system, so I decided to try going to a small school for college – and I love it! Rocky has a strong community feel and a charm to it that captured me on my first visit.
