The Annual Fund is designed to supplement student tuition on an "as needed" basis, thus covering the costs of lab resources, scholarships, technology, etc. It functions as a vital part of the schooltence, enabling teachers to better empower their students. The Advancement Office is responsible for raising funds to offset operating expenses not covered by student tuition by building relationships with alumni, friends, donors and other outside foundations.
Some of the activities critical to a successful campaign include:
Phonathon
During our fall and spring phonathons, students come together to call on our alumni and ask for their support of the Annual Fund. Through these efforts, students receive the valuable opportunity of visiting with RMC alums and friends while helping ensure that future students have the ability to attend RMC and receive a quality education. These students are committed to maintaining high standards of integrity and strive to make every conversation enjoyable for all.
Business Drive
During our Annual Business Drive, Rocky alumni and others meet with business leaders in the surrounding communities to discuss education at Rocky and explore opportunities for businesses to become involved. In addition to financial support, businesses may lend support by offering internships, providing a guest lecturer for a class or career luncheon or participating in career development workshops.
