Coach Randy Northrop has been the coach of the golf programs since the inception. The Women's team was started in 1998 with the Men's program beginning in 2000.
From the start, both programs have had great success. The Men's program has won 4 Conference Championships and finished 2nd 5 other years. Last season they qualified for their 1st National Tournament and finished 13th in the Nation.
The Women's team have won the Conference Championship 11 of the 12 years that Northrop has coached at Rocky. They have the longest current streak of qualifying for the National Tournament of any program at Rocky with 12 straight years. The Rocky women have 5 top ten finishes and have finished 3rd in the Nation twice. Last season the Lady Bear's again won the Frontier Conference and finished 13th at the National Tournament.
Randy is married to his wife Camie(Finberg) who is a Rocky graduate and former basketball player at Rocky. They have three children, Samantha (18), Kayla I(15) and Kyler (5).
