Rocky Mountain College invites applications for a newly-created position in the College's environmental management and policy and environmental studies programs. The successful candidate must be prepared to teach a variety of courses in these programs, as well as related disciplines, and will have the opportunity to develop additional courses. Courses taught include environmental politics, geographic information systems (GIS), energy and society, and others. The successful candidate must be committed to teaching excellence in an interdisciplinary environment and will be expected to provide faculty leadership to and promote the development of these two programs. The successful candidate will be expected to teach an average course load of 12 contact hours each semester with course release for administrative duties.
An earned Ph.D. in a relevant social science discipline is required. Teaching experience is preferred.
