Position Description

The Athletic Director (AD) is the chief athletic officer of the College and provides leadership for 15 athletic teams and for all athletic-related activities. The AD reports to the Vice President for Student Life and is responsible for ensuring a quality co-curricular experience for our student-athletes. RMC’s Athletic Director is accountable for the overall planning, organization, administration, fundraising, and operation of the athletic department. 


The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally, have experience with database management, possess excellent computer skills, and be comfortable representing the College in public settings. A bachelor’s degree is required, master’s degree preferred. At least five years experience in athletic administration is required. Experience in higher education is preferred.
