This part-time position is responsible for cleaning on a daily basis, buildings as assigned to maintain a safe, clean environment. This position is also responsible for monitoring and reporting any building and/or classroom maintenance needs. Hours are 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Monday through Friday.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to operate buffers, floor machines, paint, and use any hand tool is needed.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to taste or smell.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
