Position Description
Reporting directly to the provost, this position is responsible for providing leadership and management in the Office of Student Records. The Office of Student Records maintains all student academic records and implements and enforces academic policies as they pertain to students. The office also facilitates academic advising, executes student registration, certifies candidates for graduation, and ensures FERPA compliance. The registrar also prepares and certifies athletic eligibility documents, Title II documents, and international student certification.
Qualifications
Candidates for the position must hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree, though a master's degree is preferred, and must demonstrate historical success in leadership and management. Familiarity with best practices in students records administration is necessary. Advanced computer skills are also essential, as is a knowledge of regulations pertaining to the students records function.
