Compensation includes tuition remission, a stipend salary over the course of 10-months, a single occupancy apartment, and meal accommodations through dining services. Benefits package includes medical insurance, voluntary dental and vision, life insurance, additional voluntary life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment, short-term disability, long-term disability, retirement plan, and sick leave accrual.

Position Description

Rocky Mountain College is seeking applicants for a residence director position. The position is hired on a 10-month contract. Primary duties include supervising and training of staff, overseeing students in a co-educational hall, responding to crisis situations, facilitating student conduct processes, assisting in meaningful programming with staff, maintaining a tracking occupancy of the building, planning and providing training opportunities for staff members, strengthening community in residence halls, and creating a safe and educational environment for students, staff, and community alike.


  • A minimum of 2 years of college education
  • A minimum of 2 years of related residence life or housing experience
  • Previous supervision experience
  • Demonstrated commitment to community and student development
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
