Julie Seedhouse
Vice President of Advancement
Julie Seedhouse joined Rocky Mountain College in July 2012 as the vice president for advancement. Seedhouse came to RMC after serving as director of alumni relations at her alma mater, Montana State University - Billings, since 2007. She previously taught high school English in Butte from 1989-2002 and middle school and high school English in Billings from 2002-2007.
Seedhouse is actively involved in a variety of professional and community organizations. She currently serves on the board of the YWCA and has served on the boards of the Billings Education Association and Venture Theatre, while also volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, McKinley School Renovation Task Force, and the Billings Public Schools Calendar Committee. She also served as two-time co-chair of the annual MEA-MFT Educators' Conference and on the MEA-MFT – Professional Issues and Development Committee, as well as the Montana Women's Leadership Cadre. She is an alumna of Leadership Montana, class of 2010, and Leadership Billings, class of 2011. While in Butte, Seedhouse also served on the Butte Silver Bow Planning Board, the Butte Silver Bow Tax Appeal Board, and the Orphan Girl Theatre Board.
Seedhouse earned her bachelor's degree in education from Eastern Montana College in 1989, a master's in technical communications from Montana Tech in 2000, and a masters's in public relations from MSU-B in 2011. She is married to Shaun Seedhouse and has two sons, Bryce, 21, and Nik, 18, Pedersen.
