RMC Music Presents  Fall Concert  

BILLINGS, October 1, 2014 – The RMC music department will hold its Fall Concert on Sunday, October 5, at 3:00 p.m. at Mayflower Congregational United Church of Christ. 

The Fall Concert will feature the concert band, concert choir, and chamber singers. Tony Hammond will be conducting the concert band, and Laura Blodgett will be conducting the concert choir and chamber singers. 

The concert band will be performing works by Sean O’Loughlin, Russ Newbury, J.S. Bach, and Johannes Hanssen.

The program for the concert choir and chamber singers will include: "Sing with Joy" from Judas Maccabaeus by George F. Handel; "Set Me as a Seal" from A New Creation by Rene Clausen; "Danny Boy" – a traditional Irish tune; "Drink to me Only with Thine Eyes" by Old English Air; "Song to Celia" from Liebeslieder Polkas by P.D.Q. Bach; "Long Time Ago" – an old American ballad; "Ubi Caritas" from Quatre Motets on Gregorian themes by Maurice Durufle; "Turkey in the Straw" – an American folk song; and "The Promise of Living" from The Tender Land by Aaron Copland. 

The RMC Fall Concert is free and open to the public.
