2014 Food Drive at RMC November 1-15

BILLINGS, October 22, 2014 – Rocky Mountain College will be holding a food drive November 1-15 in collaboration with Sodexo for their annual Stop Hunger Campaign.

RMC is inviting employees, students, and the public to participate in the food drive. Non-perishable food items can be dropped off in the food bins in the lobby of Bair Family Student Center on the RMC campus.

“Rocky is proud to support the mission of Family Service, Inc., in their efforts to alleviate hunger in Yellowstone County,” said RMC Community Services Coordinator Jill Washburn. “They are a tremendous asset to our community and anything we can do to help support their work – we are always willing to step up and lend a hand.”

The nonperishable food items can also be redeemed for a number of gifts at RMC. You can drop off five cans at the RMC bookstore in exchange for a 15% off coupon. Sodexo is also offering a free-drink coupon in exchange for canned goods. Or, if you attend the RMC football game on November 15, you can receive a $5 game ticket in exchange for five non-perishable food items.

“This is the third year Rocky is hosting a food drive to benefit Family Service,” said Washburn. “We hope to make it our biggest yet! All donations are appreciated and will be given to Family Service at the RMC football game on November 15.”
