Halloween for Hunger food drive at RMC to benefit Family Service
BILLINGS, October 22, 2014 – RMC is inviting students, employees, and the public to participate in RMC’s annual Halloween food drive to benefit Family Service, Inc. On Friday, October 31, RMC students will be out to collect non-perishable food items in neighborhoods near RMC’s campus.
For those in the community who will not be home, RMC is encouraging them to leave the donation by the door and label it, “RMC Halloween for Hunger,” and volunteers will pick it up on Halloween evening.
If you are unable to participate on Halloween evening, there will be donation bins in Bair Family Student Center from November 1-15, which will also be a part the Stop Hunger food drive at RMC.
Family Service, Inc., is part of the Montana Food Bank Network, which distributes 1 million pounds of food annually to individuals and partner organizations in Yellowstone County to help alleviate hunger.
