Two Rocky cross-country runners named to NAIA Scholar Athlete team

BILLINGS, November 26, 2014 – The NAIA announced Monday that two Rocky Mountain College cross country student-athletes have been named to the 2014 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes list.

Representing the women’s team is Mariah Gondeiro, a junior from Raynesford, Mont., who attended Belt Valley High School. She is a business major.

Cory Berry, a graduate student from Kimberly, Idaho, majoring in accounting, competed on the Battlin’ Bears’ men’s squad.

Gondeiro and Berry qualified for the prestigious award by maintaining a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and both were of at least junior academic status.
