Eight Rocky volleyball players honored

BILLINGS, Mont., December 8, 2014 – Eight Rocky Mountain College volleyball players were named to the 2014 Daktronics-NAIA Volleyball Scholar-Athletes list that was announced by the NAIA Friday, Dec. 5.

The eight Rocky student-athletes are: Tori Bertsch, junior, setter, Post Falls, Idaho; Anna Dewald, senior, middle blocker, Windsor, Colo.; Jennifer Donaldson, senior, libero, Pocatello, Idaho; Sky Gabel, senior, setter, Casper, Wyo.; BieAnna Geck, senior, right side, Worden, Mont.; Elli Hellerud, senior, right side, Red Lodge, Mont.; Brooke Myers, junior, defensive specialist, Cody, Wyo., and Mariah Stiffarm, junior, outside hitter, Billings, Mont.

In order to receive this prestigious academic award, each student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
