Toastmasters holds open house on RMC campus May 19
BILLINGS, May 12, 2014 – The RMC Debate Society invites the public to an open, free Toastmasters Meeting on campus Monday, May 19, at 5:30 p.m., the first of continuing regular weekly Toastmasters meetings on campus.Guests will enjoy a one-hour typical meeting with prepared speeches, Table Topics™ (impromptu speeches), and useful feedback on public speaking.
Daniel Parod (’15) of the RMC Debate Society said, “As part of its continued efforts to foster a community of discussion centered on Rocky Mountain College, the Debate Society has arranged to host weekly Monday meetings of the Trailhead Toastmasters Club at RMC beginning May 19.”
Toastmasters International is a non-profit educational organization that fosters communication and leadership skills through a worldwide network of meetings by providing a supportive and positive environment where members have the opportunity to develop these crucial skills. Clubs are open to all.
The Toastmasters open house is Monday, May 19, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. in the Great Room of Prescott Hall, on the RMC campus. Parking is available in the parking lot by Prescott Hall, accessed from Rimrock Road. Further meetings after May 19 will be in a separate location at RMC.
