Ryniker-Morrison Gallery to exhibit ‘The Campus of Rocky Mountain College: A Visual History’ September 1-29rmc

Billings, August 22, 2016 – Rocky Mountain College’s Ryniker-Morrison Art Gallery will host the exhibit, “The Campus of Rocky Mountain College: A Visual History,” in Tech Hall on the RMC campus from September 1-29, 2016. The opening reception will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2016, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. The exhibit is free and the public is cordially invited to attend.

“This exhibit is a collection of photos, drawings, illustrations, blueprints, and other media to illustrate and cause reflection about this unique place in our community,” said Sally McIntosh, Director of the Ryniker-Morrison Art Gallery. “Spaces like this campus exist over time because of dedicated visionaries like architect and artist, Wayne Gustafson, who with their skills and abilities lay the groundwork.”

McIntosh explained that this exhibit is dedicated to Wayne Gustafson, who was a partner in the Drake-Gustafson Architects from 1955-2005. Included in the exhibit are works by photographer Paul Whiting, architectural illustrator Jim Collins, artist Zack Garretson, and architect Kim Olsen from 02 Architects.

Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The gallery is closed on weekends and school holidays. For more information, contact Sally McIntosh at
