RMC Equestrian Team competes in Semi-Finals

BILLINGS, April 14, 2016 – The Rocky Mountain Equestrian Team competed in Semi-Finals in Galva, Illinois, on March 19-20. Katie Andews, Laura Bratz, Cassandra Cook, Bekah Thomson, Codi Uecker competed in the team competition. Natalie Sheffer, Jessica Cunningham, Bailie Wertheimer, Bekah Thomson, Jenny Knapp, and Codi Uecker, qualified for the individual competition. 

Andrews showed in team beginning horsemanship and placed 2nd. Bratz showed team in intermediate horsemanship and placed 5th. Cook showed in team novice horsemanship and placed 2nd. Thomson showed in team advanced horsemanship and placed 7th. Uecker showed in team open horsemanship and reining and placed 5th and 1st respectfully.   

Sheffer competed in individual begging horsemanship. Cunningham competed in the individual intermediate horsemanship and placed 8th. Thomson and Wetheimer competed in individual novice horsemanship. Jenny competed in individual advanced horsemanship. In individual open horsemanship and reining, Uecker placed 3rd and 1st respectfully. 

RMC is proud of what these ladies have accomplished and look forward to supporting Uecker as she advances to the National Competition in Lexington, Kentucky on May 5-8, as a representative of Rocky Mountain College and Region 3.
