RMC student placed Reserve Champion at Nationals

BILLINGS, May 18, 2016 – The Rocky Mountain College Equestrian Team is proud to announce that one of its freshman riders, Codi Uecker, placed Reserve Champion as the AQHA High-Point rider at Nationals. The Intercollegiate Horse Show Association hosted their national horse at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky May 4th-7th.

Uecker, a freshman majoring in Biology, traveled with coach, Chris Brown, to the Horse Park during finals week to represent RMC as an individual rider. In order to qualify for the AQHA High-Point competition, the rider must be the top point earner in their respective region.

Uecker is from Lewistown, Mont., and has an extensive background in the show world; western horsemanship, western pleasure, and English equitation.
