Meet the Executive Vice President and Dean of Student Life

Brad Nason, BS., MS.

A native Montanan, Dean Nason likes to say he has not gotten very far in life; “born in Missoula, raised in Bozeman, and grew-up at Rocky Mountain College.” Brad is a proud RMC alumnus, matriculating as freshman in the fall of 1979. He earned his undergraduate degree in Sociology/Anthropology in 1983. His experience in student service began as an undergraduate when he served for two years as a Resident Assistant in Jorgenson Hall. As a graduate student, Brad worked as a Residence Director, Assistant Director of Intramurals and Outdoor Recreation, and Housing Coordinator. Upon completion of this graduate work, Brad and his wife Shanna (class of ‘83) moved to Washington where he served as Director of Housing and Residence Life at Yakima Valley College. Returning to his alma mater in 1987, he has been associated with RMC for more than 38 years, working with generations of RMC students. Outside of the College, Brad enjoys cycling, mountain biking and skiing, and over most noon hours you’ll find him playing basketball in the Fortin Center with RMC students and faculty.
