Dr. Nathan Allen is a practicing emergency medicine physician, healthcare ethicist, and physician leader. He earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern and completed residency training in emergency medicine and fellowship training in clinical ethics at the University of Chicago. During his early career he helped launch a new emergency medicine residency at Baylor College of Medicine and has worked as a clinical instructor for PA students and PA fellows across different institutions. He lectures and publishes on healthcare ethics topics and currently works as the department chair of Emergency Medicine and Medical Director for Healthcare Ethics at Billings Clinic in Billings, MT. He loves skiing fresh powder and climbing mountains with his wife and children under the big sky of Montana.
