Aimee Roberts is a Billings native who completed her bachelor's degree in occupational therapy in 1998, and later received a post professional masters degree in occupational therapy with an emphasis in pediatrics and school-based therapy from University of Puget Sound in 2003. She has a special interest in Autism, sensory processing and interoception.

Professor Roberts started her career in the Seattle area working in the public school system as well as establishing a private clinic. Upon moving back to Billings in 2005, Professor Roberts continued her private practice, Blue Skies Pediatric Therapy Services and has been serving the special needs community using a holistic approach that focuses on the family. Professor Roberts strives to increase awareness of special needs children and the role of occupational therapy by presenting at professional conferences, special needs organizations, schools, and advocacy groups. She has also organized community events for the special needs community such as the annual Trunk or Treat and Easter Egg Hunt. She currently serves on the Health Services Advisory Committee for Head Start.

Professor Roberts is dedicated to advocating for families and special needs children. She is constantly inspired by her clients to think “outside the box” and create fun new ways to meet the needs of her clients. She has brought this unique perspective into the classroom with combining experiential activities to reinforce concepts and encourage critical thinking. Professor Roberts is honored to have the opportunity to share her love of occupational therapy with the next generation of therapists as a member of the Rocky Mountain College faculty.
