Therapeutic Horsemanship ProgramTherapeutic Session

The therapeutic horsemanship program at RMC provides a unique experience for students in that they spend more than half of their time working with clients and have the ability to become PATH-certified upon graduation. The program operates a PATH International Therapeutic Horsemanship Center, which serves those in the local community with disabilities, allowing RMC faculty and students to interact with professional therapists and their clients.

RMC is one of only four schools in the nation to offer the therapeutic horsemanship major in conjunction with PATH certification. Students are encouraged to double major in another program, such as business or science, which helps make the student well-rounded and employable in both equine and mainstream practices.
