ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF FLIGHT OPERATIONS

Position Description:

Rocky Mountain College, Billings Mt, is looking for an Assistant Director of Flight Operations.  Duties include; supporting the Director of Flight Operations in the mission of preparing students to fulfill graduation requirements under FAR parts 61, 91 and 141.  This person will be responsible for assisting the Director of Flight Operations and Chief Flight Instructor with duties including, but not limited to, Safety and Safety program, Personnel (staffing), Curriculum Development, SOP/FTM Development and Revision, Check Pilot duties, Aircraft Scheduling, Personnel Evaluation and general Leadership and Management of Flight Operations.

The applicant will hold a Bachelor's degree, or higher and be a Certificated Flight Instructor with single engine land, Instrument and Multi-Engine ratings.  FAA Class III medical or ability to qualify via BasicMed is required. FAA Class II or higher medical certificate preferred.  The applicant should possess strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.  They should be good at using computers for email communication, word processing, and spreadsheet applications.
