The Bear's Cupboard

Rocky Mountain College believes that no student should go hungry, regardless of their financial situation. The Bear’s Cupboard is an emergency food pantry for students operated by the Office of Community Engagement and the Office of Spiritual Life. As an emergency pantry, The Bear’s Cupboard will assist students in their time of need and is committed to connecting students with resources to help with their long term needs. The Bear’s Cupboard operates with food collected through drives and monetary donations.

How does The Bear’s Cupboard work?

Students are able to receive food from The Bear’s Cupboard up to 3 times per semester.  The pantry has no income or needs requirement. Students can choose up to 12 food items per visit. Students can schedule their appointment on Calendly although walk-ins will not be turned away. On their first visit they will fill out a First-Time Application Form and select food during the same visit. Students who need long term support will be referred and connected with resources in the Billings Community.
