Signature Programs

These programs are designed to give all students the opportunity to become involved with community service. It is our desire that by becoming involved with these opportunities, students will be inspired to continue their involvement with the community while attending Rocky Mountain College.

We are always accepting project proposals for our upcoming service days. Requests need to be made 60 days in advance, so that the Office of Community Involvement can make a decision within two weeks of project receipts, plan, and advertise accordingly in collaboration with the agency.

Freshman Service Day

Freshman Service Day is the annual service day in August done as part of the new student orientation events. It is designed to engage students in service for approximately four hours at a local agency. The service day gives first year students a chance to learn about the Billings community, meet new classmates and serve the area agencies. Check out a Freshman Service Day Photo Gallery.

Day of Champions

Day of Champions is an annual service event in the spring that engages our student-athletes. Day of Champions is done as part of Rocky’s commitment to being an engaged neighbor. Athletic teams throughout the Spring Semester will select a day to volunteer together in order to serve the Yellowstone County community. Previous years this has meant the mobilization of 220+ student volunteers, with on average, 800 hours served. Check out the Day of Champions Photo Gallery
