Bear’s Cupboard

College is expensive and so are groceries, however, Rocky Mountain College believes that no student should go hungry. The Bear’s Cupboard is an emergency food pantry for students operated by the Office of Spiritual Life. Textbook assistance and “bear necessities” hygiene items are also available.

How does The Bear’s Cupboard work?

First, check the Chapel for food donations! You are welcome to take these items as needed. Also remember to check out the Community Fridge in the library, maintained by Enactus. You are welcome to “take what you need, and pay what you can” even if that means paying nothing.

Next, email bearscupboard@rocky.edu and ask about setting up an appointment to visit the pantry or having a grocery bag of non-perishables prepared for you.

As an emergency pantry, The Bear’s Cupboard will assist students in their time of need and will also connect students with community resources to help with their long term needs.
