Volunteering

The Office of Spiritual Life offers a variety of opportunities for students to make a difference in the community and put beliefs into action.

With the help of student Volunteer Project Coordinators, we strive to:

  • Provide service opportunities for the College community
  • Cultivate an awareness of community needs
  • Maintain community partnerships
  • Ensure Rocky Mountain College is an engaged neighbour

Programs include:

  • Monthly “Crafts for a Cause”
    • Help make items, such as fleece tie-blankets, that are donated to community agencies
  • Service Saturday
    • At least once each semester, help with a large community volunteer project
  • PBJ Service Project
    • Twice a month, help make PBJ sandwiches that are donated to community agencies
  • Friday “Lunch and Learn”
    • Eat lunch and learn about service from representatives of community agencies
  • Student Volunteer Project coordinators are working on details for additional projects!
