Position Description

This position in Services for Academic Success (SAS) is responsible for providing administrative support, academic advising, career guidance, personal counseling, diagnostic testing, financial aid assistance, and advocacy to students. SAS is a federally funded program that provides academic support services to approximately 250 low-income, first-generation, learning-disabled and physically disabled college students. This position is full-time for a 10-month period and is contingent upon federal funds. 


Candidates must have a bachelor's degree and excellent computer and database management skills. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree with an emphasis in education or counseling, three years teaching and/or counseling experience with college students, and backgrounds similar to those of TRIO participants.
