Instructor of Philosophy - Job Posting

The Philosophy & Religious Studies Program at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana, invites applications for an Instructor of Philosophy for the spring semester of 2024. The successful candidate will have completed a PhD in Philosophy or ABD and be close to completing their dissertation at the time of application. The position requires a credit load of 12 credits (4 courses). Teaching duties include two sections of PHR100 Introduction Philosophy and Religious Studies, PHR321 Major Philosophical Thinkers, and PHR 378 Philosophy of Technology and Contemporary Culture. Liberal arts teaching experience is preferred. The successful candidate will support and carry out the mission of the college as well as demonstrate a commitment to developing and enhancing a culture of rigor, excellence, and achievement. The start date is January 1, 2024; classes start on January 8. The salary is $20,000.
