Native American Outreach

Honoring Culture - Building Community

Rocky Mountain College, Montana’s first and oldest institution of higher learning, has a longstanding history with the region’s native and tribal communities. While this history includes moments of positive collaboration, it also falls short of today’s expectations. Nonetheless, it informs our belief in the transformational potential of our students and communities.

To contribute to the success of our students and Indigenous neighbors, we strive to foster a community that is empowering, encouraging, and engaging. We are deeply invested in the potential of Native Americans in education, leadership, and self-determination.

Cultivating Native Leaders

We are committed to supporting the potential of Native Americans in education, leadership, and self-determination. We believe in the transformative power of our students and communities. To contribute to the success of our students and Indigenous neighbors, we strive to create a community that is empowering, encouraging, and engaging.

Rocky Mountain College supports the practice of smudging, providing opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to participate.

Join us for Indigenous Gathering Week at Rocky Mountain College—a vibrant series of events celebrating Indigenous culture, wellness, and community.
