Green & Gold football scrimmage on campus April 12

BILLINGS, April 9, 2014 – With spring finally in the air at RMC, it’s time for the annual Green & Gold Football Scrimmage. This Saturday, April 12, the RMC Battlin’ Bears kick off the 2014 football season at 1:00 p.m.

“We’re excited, hopefully we’ll have some good weather,” said Coach Brian Armstrong who heads into his sixth season as the head football coach. “We have lots of work left to do, we’ll have to have a great summer and camp … we’ll get out there this weekend and run some plays,” he said.

This is the first spring game to be held on the RMC campus at Herb Klindt Field. Admission is free, and there will be tailgating in the south end zone beginning at 12:00 p.m. All are invited to cheer on the Battlin’ Bears as they prepare for next season.

Bear Bash, RMC athletics largest annual fundraiser, takes places after the scrimmage at 6:00 p.m. in the Fortin Education Center. Tickets are still available online at, at the door, or from any of the RMC coaches. For more information contact Kelsey Daer at 406.657.1171 or
