Rocky’s Clancy named NAIA All-America

BILLINGS, Mont. – May 20, 2015 – Rocky Mountain College women’s golfer Kyla Clancy was recently honored by the NAIA by being named second team All-America.

A total of 30 student-athletes were selected by the NAIA-Women’s Golf Coaches’ Association All-America Committee, with 15 individuals being named to the first and second team.

Clancy recently finished in a three-way tie for 30th at the 21st Annual NAIA National Golf Tournament that was played at Savannah Quarters Country Club in Pooler, Ga.

Clancy, this year’s Frontier Conference tournament winner, finished +24 for the tournament, carding a four-day total of 312.

Clancy is a junior from Park City, Mont., and played at Billings Central Catholic High School. She qualified for the National Tournament by winning the Frontier Conference tournament title.

Clancy, the reigning Montana state amateur champion, was a first team NAIA All-America selection in 2014.
