Rocky signs Billings West runner

BILLINGS, Mont. – April 22, 2015 – Rocky Mountain College men’s cross country/coach Mike McLean has announced the signing of Billings West standout Isaac Petsch to an NAIA letter of intent.

According to McLean, Petsch is one of Montana’s top prep runners. In 2014, he set personal bests in the 800-meter run (1:56.58) as well as the 1600m (4:25.49), ranking him third overall amongst all classifications in both races. Petsch recently clocked a time of 9:57.40 in the 3200m.

“We are very excited to sign Isaac,” McLean said. "We feel he will make an immediate impact in our program.”

Isaac will join older brother Fred, who is a sophomore competing for the Battlin’ Bears in cross country as well as in the middle and long distance races on the track teams.
