Rocky extends record to 8-0 in rout of Walla Walla
BILLINGS– September 23, 2015 – The No. 21 ranked Rocky Mountain College men’s soccer team extended their record to 8-0 in a 12-1 rout of the Walla Walla University Wolves at Wendy’s Field in Billings today.
The Battlin’ Bears, who scored six goals each half, notched 33 shot attempts, while the Wolves were limited to two.
Senior Jack Clancy got the Battlin’ Bears on the board first off of a Tanner Wolff assist in the 26th minute. Clancy finished with two goals and assisted on another. Ben Carpenter and Chasen Lasure each recorded two goals, while Steven Forbes, Tiago Ewald, Max Steinmetz, Mason Luse and Emmitt Zavitz each notched a goal.
Walla Walla, who fell to 0-3 overall, received their lone score from Brook Fesler in the 53rd minute.
The Battlin’ Bears return to the Wendy’s Field pitch Friday, Sept. 25, as they host Multnomah University. Action is set to begin at 4 p.m.
