Battlin’ Bears well-represented in 69th annual Shrine Game
BILLINGS– July 17, 2015 – Seven soon-to-be Rocky Mountain College Battlin’ Bears football players will play their final high school game on the gridiron by participating in the 69th annual Montana East-West Shrine Football Game that will take place Saturday, July 18 in Great Falls. The game is scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m.
The seven, who are all playing for the East squad, include: Trent Farnworth (6-0, 250) is a defensive lineman from Wibaux; Shane Larson (6-1, 185) is from Conrad and will play outside linebacker; playing on the offensive line are center Kyle Reitler (6-5, 295) from Billings Skyview, and Huntley Project product Tanner Miller a 6-foot-3, 255-pound guard; another Wibaux Longhorn on the squad is 6-foot-1, 180 pound tight end Connor Leach; Ryder Rice (6-4, 210) is a defensive end from Savage; and Belgrade’s Koby Ruff, 5-foot-9, 160-pound quarterback rounds out the list.
“We are very proud to have such a high number of future players playing in the most prestigious all-star game of the summer,” said Rocky head football coach Brian Armstrong.
The Battlin’ Bears open fall drills Aug. 8.
