Rocky men’s basketball adds guard

BILLINGS, Mont. – May 6, 2015 – Rocky Mountain College men’s basketball coach Bill Dreikosen has announced the signing of guard Terrylee Wedgeworth to an NAIA letter of intent.

Wedgeworth, a 5-foot-10 guard, joins the Battlin’ Bears after a successful two-year career at Colorado Northwestern Community College (Rangley). This past season Wedgeworth was named First Team All-Region 18, after averaging 14 points, five rebounds, and four assists per contest. He shot 83 percent from the free throw line and 37 percent from the three point line.

Wedgeworth is originally from Aurora, Colo., where he graduated from Hinkley High School.

“First of all, Terrylee is a very good student,” said Dreikosen, who is entering his 16th season as the Battlin’ Bears’ head coach. “He is very quick with the ball and has the ability to score in a variety of ways.

“I like the fact that he has been a very productive player in one of the top junior college leagues (Region 18) in the nation, playing against excellent competition night in and night out.”

Dreikosen plans to announce several more additions to the Battlin’ Bears in the near future.
