Position Description

As a core program faculty member, this individual is involved in generating and delivering classroom lectures and clinical skills instruction within the basic medical and clinical science topics for which he/she is qualified. The successful candidate will have essential responsibilities/duties to include: faculty and student supervisory roles, student advising, curricular design and assessment. Will also have the opportunity to help administer care at the RMC student health services clinic.

Education and/or Experience

Master's degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies. Clinical practice experience as a licensed Physician Assistant is required with current certification. Previous experience teaching health care professionals in a clinical or academic setting is highly desirable.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• A valid driver's license is needed for this position.

Current NCCPA certification is required for physician assistants.

• Must be eligible for professional licensure in the state of Montana.

Other Skills

• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication, planning, administrative and organization skills are required. . An excellent working knowledge of computer systems and the following software is very important; Microsoft's Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access and any digital imaging software programs.
