Position Description

Rocky Mountain College invites applications for a non-tenure track position in education at the level of assistant professor.  A master’s in education with prior K-12 teaching experience is required.  The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate courses in education, including methods classes in science and math to teacher candidates seeking licensure in education; contribute to student growth and development through advising and assistance; supervise student teaching of teacher candidates; collaborate on program development, review and assessment; and provide collaborative leadership in nurturing and developing partnerships with local schools and school districts. Outstanding candidates will demonstrate a commitment to serving a culturally diverse student body through delivering a student-centered education in a liberal arts context and will be able to work effectively with a wide range of individuals. The position begins August 2020.
