Position Description

Rocky Mountain College is seeking a qualified maintenance technician to perform basic maintenance and repairs on electrical, mechanical, carpenter and plumbing applications. Must be able to Inspect and identify any building, electrical, plumbing and/or mechanical safety issues. Requires customer service skills to respond to requests, diagnose and initiate corrective actions.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requires after hours/compensated on call responsibilities as scheduled.

Education and/or experience: 

  • High school diploma preferred (GED is acceptable) .

Certificates, licenses, registrations:

  • A driver’s license is required for this position. Those who have completed trade school and have obtained appropriate licenses or certificates will be given consideration.

Other Skills:

  • Candidates must communicate clearly, be enthusiastic and cooperative team player, and be able to complete assigned tasks promptly and efficiently with minimal supervision, direction or guidance. Willing to train the right person.
