Instructor of Music - Choir Director

Position Summary:

The Music Program at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana invites applications for an Instructor of Music (part-time). The successful candidate will direct MUS 271: Concert Choir beginning in the Fall 2022 semester (semester begins August 15, 2022). Responsibilities include planning and organizing concert programs, rehearsing, and presenting public concerts at least once per semester. The choir is also required to perform at Rocky’s baccalaureate and commencement ceremonies every spring. Experience directing vocal ensembles is required, with a Bachelor of Music or Bachelor of Music Education. Masters, DMA, and PhD are preferred.
