Assistant Professor of Art
The Art Program at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana invites applications for a full-time tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor (or higher rank depending on experience) to begin September 1, 2020. The successful candidate possesses a strong background in art history. Preference will be giving to candidates with versatile backgrounds in various areas including Digital Media Design, Digital Photography, and other Studio Courses. An MFA or MA is preferred in Digital Design or a closely related field or PhD in Art History. The position requires teaching an average course load of 12 credits each semester. In addition to designing and teaching new Digital Media courses, the candidate should be able to teach some of the following: Art History Survey, Topics in Art History, Digital Photography, Calligraphy, Sculpture, Jewelry and Metalwork, Collaboration with other disciplines is also desirable.
