Position Description

Rocky Mountain College is seeking a night shift custodian, (10:00 pm to 6:00 am) for cleaning buildings as assigned.   High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Ability to operate floor machines to include scrubbers and extractors is a plus. 

Physical Demands:  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a custodian employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; handle tools, or controls.  The employee is required to reach with hands and arms; climb and balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.  
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. 

Work Environment:  The work environment characteristics described are representative of those a custodial employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to fumes or airborne particles.  The employee occasionally works outside in inclement weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
