Concert Choir

Do you like to sing? Join the choir!

RMC concert choir is open to all students of all majors – no audition required.

Singing in a group for the purpose of creating beauty is one of the most profound and uplifting experiences you can have. You connect with other students from all over campus and make new friends. You experience the magic that happens when voices blend together in harmony.

Choir is a fun and relaxing way to take a break from book learning. There are daily rehearsals over the noon hour (Losekamp Hall, first floor) and two performances per semester.

The choir performs varied repertoire, including sacred and secular music from all of the major historical eras, folk songs, and spirituals. Three semesters of participation in concert choir (MUS 271) fulfills a Fine Arts #2 core requirement for music.

Choir is more than just a class – it’s a community. Come sing with us!  Bring friends!

Music scholarships available.

Chamber Singers

Want a musical challenge?

RMC chamber singers is a small ensemble of select students who want to further their understanding of choral music. Students in chamber singers take a high degree of ownership, experimenting and shaping their own musical ideas. Audition is required.
